John Oliveira is a lifelong farmer born and raised in the Island District of Laguna Irrigation District. John has served on Laguna Irrigation District’s Board of Directors since July 18, 2002, as well as serving as the Vice President since January 2012. John has also been a long-time member of both the Kings County Farm Bureau and the Kings County Sheriff’s Posse where he has served 30+ years and been the Board Chairman/President for KCSP multiple times. John is a proud Marine veteran serving in the USMC as part of the United States Armed Forces. John is married to Teresa and has 5 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
